About The Role

The Bartender is responsible for delivering a high standard of service within the bar at The Wild Rabbit, ensuring every guest receives a warm, attentive, and professional experience. The role centres on preparing and serving drinks to a consistently high standard, maintaining strong product knowledge, and engaging confidently with guests to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Attention to detail is essential to ensure all drinks are presented correctly and in line with The Wild Rabbit standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in maintaining the overall presentation and organisation of the bar, ensuring it remains clean, well-stocked, and ready for service at all times.
  • Supporting with bar preparation, restocking, and maintaining equipment to a high standard.
  • Working as part of the wider front of house team, contributing to a smooth and efficient service, supporting colleagues where needed and maintaining a proactive approach throughout the shift.
  • A strong focus on guest experience, consistency, and teamwork is essential to the success of the role.

Skills And Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience, ideally within a fine dining or premium hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer.
  • Understanding of cocktail techniques; experience with infusions, clarifications, fermentation, and fat washing is advantageous.
  • Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality drinks under pressure.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and explain products clearly.
  • Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to work efficiently during service.
  • Good awareness of allergens and dietary requirements.
