HOURS: 45 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • To offer customers unparalleled service and learning during their time at Daylesford
  • To encourage excellent customer feedback
  • To maintain and build upon the current level of regular custom
  • To ensure all customers leave the Cookery School inspired and confident
  • To train and inspire all cookery school customers
  • To continue to maintain strong relationships with all areas of the business
  • To continue a strong relationship with the cookery school team to create a formidable, long-lasting partnership
  • To ensure all scaling is done on a Tuesday
  • To ensure the cookery school is clean and presentable at all times
  • To make sure that everything is in place at all times (the right pans in all sections dry stores cupboard organised)
  • To advise head tutor of any stock running low
  • To show a proactive approach to cost control
  • To take full control of a number of courses each month, including evenings maintain an exceptional level teaching at all times, encouraging outstanding feedback
  • To play an active role in all classes, even if not teaching
  • Ensure great knowledge of produce used (Provenance)
  • To make sure you know what you need for each dish to ensure smooth running of the dish and order of the day
  • To always show an eagerness to learn and develop
  • To be always clean, smart and neatly presented
  • To be aware of the businesses plans for the future
  • To maintain a positive attitude at all times
  • To attend training courses when requested

Skills You Will Bring

  • Ensure consistently excellent customer feedback (>92%) measured with feedback forms
  • To encourage and inspire a further 3 regular customers (>3 visits) measured with correspondence
  • To provide the relative training to ensure that our interns gain the abilities and skills for all Cookery School operations
  • Cleaning rota filled in daily
  • Go through stores to discuss any concerns with head tutor
  • Drive down the cost of sales, whilst maintaining the quality of produce and ensuring a Cos
  • To take full control of at least one course each week, including evenings
  • To maintain an exceptional level teaching at all times, encouraging outstanding feedback by name from at least 5 corporate and 5 individual customers
  • To play an active role in all classes, even if not teaching
  • Spend at least 3 days either in other areas of our business or in other similar businesses
