About The Role

We are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Host to join the Daylesford Farm Shop team. This is a highly guest facing role, combining warm welcomes with practical support across the shop and restaurant areas. You will act as a central point of contact for customers, helping manage footfall during busy periods, supporting bookings or waitlists where applicable, and working closely with retail and restaurant teams to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer journey. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, takes pride in delivering thoughtful service, and shares an interest in food, farming and sustainable living.

  • Previous experience in hospitality, retail or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Confident, friendly communication style with a natural ability to put people at ease
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a busy environment

About Gratuities & Service Charge

Gratuities are paid on a pro-rata basis. It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £7,280 in addition to their annual salary. The base salary of £26,811 plus a qualified estimate of £7,280 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.
