Barista/Bartender – Daylesford Organic
About the Role
Daylesford Organic, one of the most famous farm estates and organic producers in the UK, with luxury cafés and farm shops in London and the Cotswolds. We are looking for a Bartender to join our Daylesford Farm team in our award‑winning Trough restaurant & Oldspot Cafe.
As a Barista/Bartender you will be an ambassador for the Daylesford brand, offering an engaged service to our cliental in a relaxed and warm setting.
Base Pay
Salary: ÂŁ12.38 per hour plus tronc, weekly pay.
Hours
40 hours per week, including weekends.
Location
Daylesford Organic near Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold. Please check the location before applying.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as food items, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the café, cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and overall environment regularly.
- Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations, including restocking supplies, assisting in inventory management, and supporting each other during busy periods.
- Work straight shifts for a great work‑life balance.
- Receive management training with progression opportunities beyond café team leader.
- Help bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.
- Inspire and empower customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment as a café team leader is advantageous but not required; full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts, including weekends, as Daylesford is open 7 days a week.
