About the opportunity We are looking for experienced professionals to join our Services Consulting team as an Implementation Consultant. In this role, you'll work with our enterprise clients to implement Dayforce HCM, focusing on time, attendance, scheduling, and payroll connectors that directly impact how organizations manage and pay their people. This is a client-facing consulting role where you'll help customers solve business challenges, support solution design activities, and guide them through key stages of their Dayforce implementation. The Implementation Consultant supports the design and delivery of the Dayforce HCM solution to meet customer requirements and contributes to project activities throughout all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support). The Implementation Consultant works closely with Senior Consultants and Project Managers to deliver successful customer outcomes. Responsibilities include supporting requirements gathering, configuring Dayforce solutions, facilitating customer workshops, identifying and escalating risks, and assisting customers throughout their implementation journey. What you'll get to do Provide Implementation Services to customers: Document and validate customers' HCM business requirements and map them to Dayforce functionality Configure Dayforce solutions to meet documented customer requirements Support solution design activities and contribute to configuration recommendations Set up and configure exports from Dayforce to our EMEA in-country payroll partners Liaise with in-country payroll partners to ensure payroll data is successfully integrated from Dayforce to third-party payroll platforms Participate in customer workshops and consulting sessions (remote and in-person); produce design documents and meeting minutes Share Dayforce best practices and provide guidance aligned with standard product capabilities Support customer testing cycles, investigate issues, and help drive resolution activities Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise, including post-implementation support activities Collaborate with Senior Consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and customer outcomes Attend internal project meetings and provide status updates on assigned activities and deliverables Contribute to Internal Implementation Initiatives: Contribute to solution documentation and internal knowledge repositories Document lessons learned and implementation best practices Participate in internal process improvement initiatives and team projects Focus on Continuing Education: Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and collaborate with peers to solve customer challenges Participate in continuing education sessions and product training opportunities Complete new release training on a timely basis and stay current with product enhancements Grow your knowledge of Dayforce functionality and expand your expertise across additional modules and solution areas Support onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities within the consulting practice when appropriate Skills and experience we value 2+ years of experience in human capital management application consulting, HRIS implementation, or a related customer-facing software consulting role Strong understanding of business processes within Human Capital Management, Workforce Management, Payroll, or HR systems Familiarity with relational database concepts and exposure to SQL, XML, and/or XSLT Familiarity with web services technologies such as RESTful APIs Experience working with software in a SaaS (Software as a Service) / Cloud computing environment Experience with one or more of the following applications: Dayforce (preferred), Workday, SalesForce.com, SAP, PeopleSoft, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, Oracle HR/Payroll, Sage Strong customer relationship management skills and business acumen Ability to support medium-to-large scale implementations while managing assigned workstreams and deliverables Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to solution design and configuration activities Experience supporting testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during implementations Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trust with clients and internal stakeholders Ability to travel internationally and work on client site What would make you stand out Hands-on experience with HR, Workforce Management, Payroll, or Integration implementations within a cloud-based HCM platform Experience contributing to software implementation projects in a client-facing consulting role Experience working with global payroll partners and global stakeholders Understanding of core payroll processing principles (e.g. pay calendars, bank files, general ledgers – no legislative knowledge required) Strong solution-oriented mindset with the ability to recommend practical configurations aligned to customer needs Ability to build strong customer relationships and support successful project outcomes Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to connect business processes and technical solutions Experience identifying project risks and escalating issues appropriately Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to continuously learn new products, functionality, and implementation best practices
