This position is a Processing Line Worker at a Food Processing (Eggs) company. Under the supervision of the Processing Supervisor, this role involves performing various tasks to ensure the highest quality product.
Key Responsibilities- Food Safety and Food Quality
- Perform all functions adhering to HACCP, SQF, cGMPs, and regulatory protocols.
- Follow food safety principles.
- Handle and store products and materials to prevent damage or contamination.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with personnel and process hygiene requirements.
- Operations
- Grade and align eggs entering the washer section.
- Ensure smooth transition of eggs from the main egg belt conveyor to the accumulating station.
- Keep area clean; track inedible materials and dispose of them properly.
- Clean washer screens.
- Perform chemical checks and foam control in washers; re-wash eggs as needed.
- Grade eggs from washers according to SOP.
- Ensure smooth transfer of eggs from transfer room to breaking machine.
- Maintain cleanliness of the area.
- Assist during breaks and cleanup.
- Grade broken eggs, removing bad or blood spot eggs and shells.
- Perform cleanup duties in accordance with USDA standards after shifts in Breaking, Transfer, and Shell rooms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Experience in Food Manufacturing or Processing is desirable.
- Knowledge of safety programs such as Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, etc.
- Equipment operation skills.
Stand and walk constantly; grip, grasp, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop; lift up to 10 pounds frequently; sit, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work EnvironmentExposure to moving mechanical parts, water, and chemicals; temperature-regulated environment with cooler areas; moderate noise levels; use of personal protective equipment; adherence to GMPs, including wearing hairnets and clean clothes.
