Day Webster are currently recruiting for a band 6 inpatient forensic social worker for our NHS client in Oxford. Our client is looking for the ideal candidate to start as soon as possible for a long term contract. The shift pattern would be Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
Department: Low Secure Assessment & Treatment Wards for Women.
Essential:
- Knowledge of Forensic Mental Health/in-patient mental health services.
- Caseload management including complex conditions & cases.
- Evidence based, reflective practice and clinical reasoning skills in assessment & treatment.
- Experience in Safeguarding processes and leadership structures.
- Knowledge and application of relevant legislation eg Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act.
What you need – Role requirements:
- Adults Mental Health experience.
- Valid Driver’s licence.
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work.
- Active Professional registration with Social Work England (SWE).
