Position & Location: Medical Imaging Technologist – Permanent, Portland, Australia.
What you need – Role requirements:
- 80 hours per fortnight.
- Rotating shift roster Monday-Friday.
- Team setting with ability to work independently.
- Shared on-call 7 days per week from 5pm onwards, 10 hr breaks provided.
- Inpatient and outpatient workload (some booked, some walk-in service).
Qualifications:
- Current registration through the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) with AHPRA.
- Bachelor of Medical Radiations Science or similar recognized by ASMIRT.
- Radiation use licence from Victorian Department of Health.
Experience and Specialist Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge, experience, and competency in all routine medical imaging examinations.
- Competency in the operation of digital radiography (DR), 128 Slice CT, OPG/CBCT and DEXA.
Desirable:
- Previous similar experience.
- Experience in Mammography or willing to undertake the Certificate of Mammographic Practice.
