Position & Location: Medical Imaging Technologist – Permanent, Portland, Australia.

What you need – Role requirements:

  • 80 hours per fortnight.
  • Rotating shift roster Monday-Friday.
  • Team setting with ability to work independently.
  • Shared on-call 7 days per week from 5pm onwards, 10 hr breaks provided.
  • Inpatient and outpatient workload (some booked, some walk-in service).

Qualifications:

  • Current registration through the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) with AHPRA.
  • Bachelor of Medical Radiations Science or similar recognized by ASMIRT.
  • Radiation use licence from Victorian Department of Health.

Experience and Specialist Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge, experience, and competency in all routine medical imaging examinations.
  • Competency in the operation of digital radiography (DR), 128 Slice CT, OPG/CBCT and DEXA.

Desirable:

  • Previous similar experience.
  • Experience in Mammography or willing to undertake the Certificate of Mammographic Practice.
