Day Webster are recruiting for a Band 6 inpatient forensic social worker for our NHS client in Oxford. The role starts as soon as possible on a long‑term contract. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Department: Low Secure Assessment & Treatment Wards for Women.

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Forensic Mental Health/in‑patient mental health services.
  • Caseload management including complex conditions & cases.
  • Evidence‑based, reflective practice and clinical reasoning skills in assessment & treatment.
  • Experience in Safeguarding processes and leadership structures.
  • Knowledge and application of relevant legislation eg Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act.

Role Requirements:

  • Adults Mental Health experience.
  • Valid Driver's licence.
  • Degree or Diploma in Social Work.
  • Active Professional registration with Social Work England (SWE).
