About Us
Day Out With The Kids is the UK’s biggest platform, specialising in family days out. Over 25 million families use our website every year. Our mission is simple: to help families make the most of their time together. As the UK’s #1 platform for family days out, we list over 8,000 attractions, inspire with curated content, sell tickets for top UK experiences, and help parents save money with our popular VIP Pass membership. We’re fast-moving, purpose-driven, and scaling quickly: from building our own ticketing platform and B2B tools to driving growth across organic search, email, and content. We’ve smashed performance records year after year, and now we’re ready to go even further.
The Role
The Head of Partnerships will own and grow relationships with our most important partners. This role is responsible for increasing partner value through deeper commercial engagement, higher advertising spend, and conversion into ticket-selling partners. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building playbooks from scratch, and can combine data-led insight with strong relationship leadership to unlock long-term growth. This is not a role for someone who needs a large team, heavy process, or established playbooks. You will build the strategy, execute it yourself, and be judged on results.
Responsibilities
- Owning and growing a portfolio of our top strategic partners, driving deeper commercial engagement
- Increasing advertising investment across key accounts
- Converting high-potential partners into ticket-selling partners and growing their contribution over time
- Developing and executing account growth strategies that drive mutual value
- Using data and insight to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across the partner portfolio
- Acting as the senior commercial lead for key partners, building long-term, trusted relationships
What You’ll Be Doing (Hands-On)
- Managing senior relationships with large, complex partners as their primary commercial contact
- Building tailored growth plans for key accounts, aligned to partner objectives and our commercial strategy
- Using performance data to identify upsell, cross-sell, and optimisation opportunities
- Creating compelling, data-backed value propositions that drive increased spend and deeper partnership
- Leading onboarding of new strategic partners, ensuring fast time-to-value
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver partner outcomes and remove friction
- Helping define and evolve our key account playbook, processes, and best practices as we scale
This Role Is For Someone Who…
- Has a genuine owner’s mentality — you treat revenue as if it’s your own
- Is comfortable operating with ambiguity and creating the playbook as you go
- Is comfortable being judged on outcomes, not effort or intent
- Thrives as a senior individual contributor
- Enjoys building from scratch and doesn’t wait for permission, process, or perfect information
- Can operate independently while still being a strong, collaborative team player
- Is commercially sharp, curious, and relentlessly focused on growth
- Is confident building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders
- Is naturally inquisitive and always looking for better ways to grow accounts
- Values trust, pace, and accountability
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience growing large or strategic accounts personally
- Strong commercial instinct, backed by the ability to use data to prioritise and persuade
- Strong ability to interpret data and translate insight into commercial opportunity
- Proven experience using data to build compelling value propositions
- Experience within the UK ticketing or attractions industry would be advantageous
- Excellent relationship-building, senior stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Experience in strategic account management, onboarding, and long-term account growth
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Commercially minded, with a track record of growing revenue through partnerships
