Marketing Manager

Full-Time No working from home possible
Day One Trauma Support

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, ambitious charity at a moment when helping more people find us, trust us and access our support has never mattered more, as we launch and deliver our new strategy. As Marketing Manager, you’ll help people better understand who we are, what we do and how we can help whether that’s someone looking for support, a professional seeking trusted information, or a supporter wanting to make a difference. Working closely with the Head of Brand and Marketing, you’ll bring our brand strategy to life through warm, engaging and effective marketing that builds understanding, strengthens trust and inspires people to take action.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead marketing delivery and growth by planning and delivering integrated campaigns across digital, content, social, email and offline channels, supporting the charity’s strategy, key organisational moments and ambition to help more people find, trust and access Day One’s support.
  • Work closely with the Digital Officer to plan, deliver and optimise digital marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are effectively implemented, performance is monitored, and learning is shared.
  • Lead brand and messaging delivery, working closely with the Head of Brand and Marketing to bring the brand to life day to day, ensuring messaging is warm, clear, consistent and people-centred, and supporting colleagues through effective internal communications to use the brand and tone of voice confidently and consistently.
  • Drive insight and continuous improvement, using data, feedback and performance analysis to shape marketing plans, share learning across teams, and take a test-and-learn approach to improving reach, relevance and impact.
  • Build strong, collaborative working relationships across the organisation and with external partners, working closely with the Events Lead to ensure effective promotion and storytelling, managing agencies or freelancers where needed, and ensuring all marketing activity reflects brand standards, safeguarding, GDPR and equality commitments.

What You Will Bring

You might come from a charity, public sector or values-led organisation, or from a commercial role where people and purpose have been at the heart of your work. You may already have experience marketing services, campaigns or causes, or be ready for a step up with more ownership and responsibility. What matters most is your ability to work with empathy, bring ideas to life, and help people find, trust and access support when they need it most.
