Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and contribute to teaching and learning activities across the College.
  • Deliver technical instruction on garment construction and pattern‑cutting techniques aligned with industry standards, covering shapewear, swimwear, lingerie, activewear and nightwear.
  • Lead highly specialised sewing workshops focused on garment construction, demonstrating and teaching sewing skills while ensuring proficiency in operating specialist machinery and equipment.
  • Adapt communication style to effectively teach a diverse range of students, ensuring each individual gains the education and skills needed for success in a rapidly evolving industry.

Working Hours

This position includes working evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in fashion technology, or possess substantial industry experience in Contour and Sportswear garment construction with specialist fabrics and pattern‑cutting.
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply effective teaching methods and professional practices that support excellence in teaching, learning, and inclusivity.
