University of the Arts London is seeking an experienced Residence Manager to play a key role in the safe and effective management of a hall of residence across London. Working closely with the Accommodation Services team, you will be responsible for the full residential lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact for residents and ensuring a high standard of service throughout their stay. The role involves overseeing room allocations, tenancy management, tenant charges and residential debt procedures, as well as managing all aspects of the landlord and tenant relationship. You will lead on continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and provide excellent pastoral care, supporting student wellbeing within our diverse residential community. In addition to this, you will act as the main contact for Summer Stays within the Residential Operations team, overseeing the full operational and administrative delivery of our summer accommodation offer. This includes supporting planning, resourcing and systems activity to ensure the successful delivery of the business during peak summer months, while contributing to the development of business objectives and ensuring an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
Responsibilities

Profile / Qualifications
- Proven experience of managing student accommodation, with strong knowledge of tenancy management, including inspections, inventories, disciplinary actions and damage charge management.
- Experience of managing welfare, safeguarding, disciplinary and health and safety issues.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support staff, set clear objectives and manage performance in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
