We are looking for an experienced photographic practitioner with expertise in artists’ moving image to join our Photography Programme. In this role you will help develop and deliver the BA (Hons) Photography course, focusing on research‑informed, experimental approaches to contemporary photographic practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the photography course, ensuring it incorporates research‑informed, experimental approaches.
  • Produce and develop your own research and/or scholarship in the field of experimental photographic practices.
  • Collaborate with the Programme team to extend subject expertise and critical understanding of experimental photography.
  • Engage students in a dynamic, team‑based environment and support their success.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a contemporary photographic practitioner creating artists’ moving image.
  • Knowledge of how photographers use computational imaging such as CGI, photogrammetry, and AI.
  • Passionate educator with experience developing and delivering innovative higher‑education teaching, particularly in moving image, image capture, sound and editing.
  • Commitment to embedding UAL principles of climate, racial and social justice in teaching practice.
  • Collaborative skills, able to work effectively with course and programme teams to create meaningful change.
