Responsibilities
- Support and inspire students in the studio and workshop, helping them shape their creative identities.
- Facilitate students’ navigation of their creative journeys and professional realities.
- Develop your own technical expertise by working alongside experienced technicians.
- Contribute to the Technical Resources team, learning and applying in‑demand technical skills.
- Balance practical studio work (80%) with studying for the recognised Higher Education Technician Qualification (20%).
Qualifications
- Hold a BA in Art, Design, or a Performance‑related field.
- Have demonstrated the ability to develop a creative practice outside college.
- Be eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the role; UAL is not a visa sponsor.
- Meet full apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including being ordinarily resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
- Possess strong communication, planning, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Have basic proficiency in Office or Mac communication suites.
