This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist in photogrammetry, digital fashion, motion capture, or 3D Design to play a key role at London College of Fashion providing professional expertise and guidance to students and staff working with digital processes, including photogrammetry and motion capture. You will equip students with high-level digital skills and support student learning through informal and formal training and instruction, and help develop proficiency in highly specialised techniques, production methods, and technology within photography and moving image.
You will also take responsibility for the daily running of a specific area within the College, including the use and booking of specialist facilities, such as the Photogrammetry Studio, as well as contribute to the development of the programme area and curriculum development.
Qualifications and experienceYou will need a master’s degree or an equivalent professional qualification in photogrammetry, digital fashion, motion capture, or 3D Design, along with demonstrable experience in educational delivery or training. Expertise in Photogrammetry-based processes and custom avatar creation and proficiency with Xsens and Manus motion capture systems and software is also required. You will also need experience of using the following software: Agisoft Metashape, CLO3D, Autodesk MotionBuilder, and Blender. Demonstrable experience of integrating motion capture workflows for fabric and garment simulation within CLO3D is equally important.
