This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and motivated Assistant Librarian to support and enhance the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused library services at University of the Arts London.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and troubleshooting queries, responding to user feedback and escalating issues where necessary
- Assisting the Discovery Manager (Resources & Systems) with authentication and access matters relating to e-resources
- Supporting the routine administration and maintenance of e-resource metadata and Discovery tools
- Updating and collating published information relating to e-resources
- Maintaining statistics of resource use, including for SCONUL data collection and development, and producing reports as required

Your profile
We are seeking an individual with a customer-focused approach and a degree or equivalent qualification. A relevant library qualification is essential, alongside experience in a library or other education/information role. You will have knowledge of e-resource administration, Discovery, CMS and enquiry systems, as well as a strong understanding of library management systems. Excellent digital skills are essential, including a familiarity with database administration, support portals and library management tools. You will also be confident using IT systems and equipment, such as printers and software including Microsoft Office 365.
