Day Lewis Pharmacy Haslemere is looking for a Part Time Delivery Driver for 3 hours daily on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, preferably from 10 am to 1 pm, but can be flexible. This position can either be self-employed at £1.80 per delivery drop, which covers time and fuel, or a fully employed position at £12.71 per hour with fuel reimbursed separately at 45p per mile.
Candidates must have use of their own insured vehicle for this position. This is a great opportunity for a Delivery Driver to work within a motivated team, delivering prescription items to private houses, nursing, and residential homes. Delivery Drivers have a significant impact on our patient community and play integral roles within the pharmacy.

The GPhC accredited Delivery Driver Course is advantageous but not essential. As a Delivery Driver, you will report directly to the Pharmacist Manager, and your support is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.
- To collect prescriptions from the Pharmacy and deliver them to patients as detailed in the standard operating procedure.
- To ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to maintain an audit trail.
- You may be asked to pick up prescriptions from other pharmacies in the area.
- To work to high standards of customer service.
- To present a professional image of the Company by acting as an ambassador.
- To ensure all company procedures and protocols are followed.
- To respect the confidentiality of information concerning customers and adhere to the Data Protection Act.
