Day Lewis is a family‑owned pharmacy group that offers a dynamic travelling role for a Relief Pharmacy Technician or experienced Relief Dispenser (Pharmacy Assistant).
As part of the Relief Team you will support a network of community pharmacies across Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean, ensuring each location delivers safe, efficient and outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the dispensary with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
- Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy counter.
- Assist the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team with the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy.
- Help with the delivery of NHS and private pharmacy services.
- Build strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries and other health‑care professionals.
- Maintain high professional and operational standards across all pharmacy locations.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to travel between all relief pharmacies as required.
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician or experienced Dispenser/Pharmacy Assistant.
- Friendly, approachable and professional demeanor.
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient and customer care.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Adaptable and confident when working across different pharmacy teams.
- Positive team player with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to travel between pharmacy locations.
Benefits & Remuneration

- Business mileage reimbursed at 55p per mile (claims via Concur).
Claims must be supported by valid fuel receipts and submitted within 31 days of the journey in accordance with the Day Lewis Expenses Policy.
