Important requirement
As this is a Relief Pharmacist position involving travel between our pharmacies, access to a car and a valid UK driving licence is highly desirable.
You will also need to hold valid GPhC registration, and the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check.
About The Role
As a Relief Pharmacist, you will take professional responsibility for the pharmacies you support, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services and an excellent experience for every patient.
You will provide strong clinical leadership and work closely with pharmacy colleagues, GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals to build positive, lasting relationships within the communities we serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking professional responsibility for the branch, including dispensing, checking and delivering clinical services
- Ensuring the safe and effective running of the pharmacy
- Providing outstanding patient care and professional clinical advice
- Leading, supporting and motivating pharmacy teams
- Building strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals
- Supporting the delivery of company targets while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety
- Mentoring and developing colleagues, sharing your clinical knowledge and expertise
- Demonstrating the Day Lewis core values in everything you do

We are looking for a confident, professional and patient-focused Pharmacist who enjoys working as part of a team and can quickly build relationships with colleagues and patients.
This opportunity could be ideal for a newly qualified Pharmacist looking to develop their skills across different pharmacy environments, or an experienced Pharmacist looking for greater variety in their role.
You will need:
- Valid GPhC registration
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable
- A strong commitment to patient safety and outstanding customer care
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to lead and support pharmacy teams
- The flexibility and adaptability required to work across different pharmacies
