The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Main purpose of the job is to do deliveries and collections allocated by Logistics Office team in a safe and efficient manner. Adhere to Company Driver Handbook, Policies and Procedures, staff training, and mentoring.

The completion of daily vehicle checks and correct defect reporting, to ensure we always remain legal and compliant. Good understanding and knowledge of Tachograph rules and regulations. Ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers. Be a good ambassador for the Company both on the road and on site. This role will require extensive travel to multiple company locations for which a Company van will be provided.

Person specification and required skills:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold C+E Licence.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience, ideally including artic tipping.
  • Confidence to operate as a knowledgeable member of staff, mentoring drivers new to the role.
  • Reliable, able to prioritise workload.
  • Have a methodical approach.
  • A professional, positive, and flexible attitude at all times.
  • This role requires the use of a tablet to complete daily walk round submissions and other associated software to complete deliveries.

Working hours/times: 10 hours per day, between the hours of 0600-1800 Monday to Friday, 0600-1200 alternate Saturdays.

Employer pension contribution with Scottish Widows. You may be entitled to discretionary Annual and Christmas bonuses. Annual leave of 29 days, including 8 Bank Holidays plus 4 Saturday Holidays per year.
