Join Day Group as our new Sales Coordinator at our Avonmouth office, and play a key role in supporting our internal sales team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling queries, processing orders, and ensuring exceptional service at every stage. Package
- Annual salary plus the 9% non‑contributory pension with Scottish Widows.
- You may be entitled to the discretionary Annual and Christmas bonuses.
- Annual leave of 25 days per year, plus 8 Bank Holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for new and existing B2B and B2C customers via phone and email.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships internally and externally.
- Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Source and price materials.
- Create, amend, follow up, and close quotations in our CRM systems.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Support field sales representatives as required.
- Report on individual sales targets.
- Carry out general office duties and assist other team members when needed.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within the building or construction industry.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and manage your own workload.
- Knowledge of building/construction materials and aggregates is beneficial but not essential.
Working hours/times
42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 0700 – 1730 (as part of a shift pattern), including 1 hour unpaid for lunch.
