We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage a Microsoft-centric, hybrid IT infrastructure environment. This role is hands-on and operational, acting as the main escalation point for all infrastructure-related incidents, while overseeing Business-as-Usual (BAU) support, security, and service delivery.
The successful candidate will have strong experience across Microsoft technologies, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and ServiceNow, and be confident managing major incidents and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage Microsoft infrastructure services, including:
- Windows Server 2019+
- Windows 11 client devices
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (N365 / O365)
- SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
- Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and security groups
- Intune configuration, compliance policies, and device updates
- Application packaging (new and updates)
- Virtual server hosting and file server management via Intune
- Folder nesting policies and access controls
- Hybrid infrastructure (Azure and on-prem)
- Site and sub-site creation
- Permissions and security group management
- Data security and recovery from SharePoint recovery points
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Manager
- Strong background in Microsoft infrastructure technologies
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, Intune, and hybrid environments
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and data security
- Experience managing ServiceNow ticketing and ITSM processes
- Experience leading major incidents and escalations
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
Rate / IR 35 status / Location: Β£300 per day Inside IR35, London - Hybrid role.
