A central Government organisation is recruiting an interim Internal Communications Officer/Intranet Manager for a period of up to 4 months to support their new Intranet. This key initiative requires an Internal Communications Officer to complete the Intranet content design and build, successfully launch the intranet alongside a roadmap of future enhancements, thereby ensuring this first phase is successfully rolled out.
Skills And Experience Required:
- 3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
- Excellent writing skills
- Well organised, able to take own initiative, and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong experience with content creation, design and delivery, including email, newsletters, intranet content, and presentations
- Ability to manage and work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization both technical and business
- Strong attention to detail for content design and build and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with CMS platforms including Drupal
- Strong understanding and experience of content structure, IA and template creation
- Experience managing and maintaining intranet tools
- Familiar with GDS and WCAG 2.2AA standards including knowledge of gov.uk standards
