About this Role
Are you a Health and Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager or HSE Lead looking for a new challenge, or an experienced compliance professional ready to step into a broader Manager of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality role? This position offers the opportunity to influence business-wide standards while remaining hands-on across operational environments.
- Act as the subject matter expert across SHEQ, supporting EMC and wider group operations.
- Lead the development and improvement of systems aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Drive a proactive safety culture, embedding accountability and continuous improvement.
- Deliver audits, investigations and corrective actions to strengthen compliance and performance.
- Partner with managers and operational teams to influence behaviours and raise standards.
About You
You bring a strong foundation in SHEQ, HSE or compliance within an operational or engineering-led environment, with the confidence to influence at all levels. You are as comfortable shaping strategy as you are supporting teams on the ground to deliver it.
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum, with professional membership such as IOSH or IEMA desirable.
- Experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
- Strong audit, investigation and root cause analysis capability.
- Ability to challenge constructively and build credibility across teams.
