About this Role

Are you a Finance Projects Analyst, Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant looking for a role where your finance knowledge can help shape real business change? As a Finance Projects Analyst at Dawsongroup, you will support finance transformation and ERP implementation projects, working across testing, data validation, process design and system deployment.

  • Act as a finance representative throughout ERP testing and implementation activities.
  • Execute and refine UAT scripts across end-to-end finance processes, including P2P, O2C, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Reporting.
  • Validate transactions, controls, workflows, approvals and reporting requirements, making sure finance processes are accurately configured.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies, helping resolve issues before go-live.

About You

You will bring practical finance experience, a good understanding of accounting principles and the curiosity to understand how systems and processes work together. We are looking for someone analytical, organised and comfortable working with different teams, but you do not need to tick every box to be considered.

  • Experience in a finance role such as Assistant Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or a similar position.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and confidence working with Excel and ERP systems.
  • A sound understanding of financial controls and finance processes such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Management Accounting.
  • Experience of ERP implementation, finance transformation or UAT would be useful, as would exposure to Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system.

Not sure you meet every requirement? If you have transferable finance experience, a willingness to learn and the right approach, we would still encourage you to apply.

  • Gain exposure to go-live readiness and finance sign-off activities.
  • Benefit from funded training, internal progression pathways and wellbeing and mental health support.
  • 24 days standard leave allowance + plus Birthday + plus Bank Holidays + up to 10 days extra (time served and purchase scheme).
