About the Role
Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Fleet Sales Executive looking for your next challenge in the HGV and asset rental industry? Our Area Sales Manager role at Dawsongroup truck and trailer could be exactly what you’ve been looking for, giving you the opportunity to grow new business, build long-term customer relationships and support customers across the North West with smarter fleet solutions. You’ll play a key role in driving contract hire, rental and finance growth while working closely with a highly experienced team that understands the value of customer relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities across contract hire, transient rental, term rental and finance solutions
- Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline using networking, referrals, cold outreach and market research
- Supporting fleet utilisation by placing assets across short and long-term rental agreements
- Working closely with Branch Managers, Contract Hire Managers and Key Account teams to maximise opportunities across the North West
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to quarterly sales planning and reporting
About You
You might already be working as an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Executive or Account Manager within transport, logistics or commercial vehicle rentals, or perhaps you’ve built strong B2B sales experience in another sector and want to bring those transferable skills into a growing industry. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and creating long-term value for customers.
