Are you an experienced Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Reporting Analyst or Commercial Analyst looking for your next challenge? Our Data Analyst role within Dawsongroup Vans offers the opportunity to shape how data drives decision making across fleet operations, finance, asset management and commercial performance. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insights that support smarter asset strategies, improve performance and maximise return on investment across the business.
- Build and develop Power BI, Tableau and other business intelligence dashboards for operational and leadership teams.
- Analyse fleet utilisation, asset performance, downtime and demand forecasting to support business growth.
- Deliver financial reporting and modelling around revenue, depreciation, cost of ownership and lifecycle value.
- Work collaboratively with departments across the business to identify opportunities and drive data-led decisions.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of operational, telematics and financial datasets.
About You
You enjoy solving problems, finding patterns and turning information into actionable insights that make a real difference. Equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with stakeholders, you're passionate about using data to support positive change and continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Data Analyst, Business Intelligence or Reporting role.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets across ERP, CRM, telematics and finance systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive mindset, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to work on your own initiative.
