Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver or Low Loader Driver looking for something more specialist than standard trunking or pallet deliveries? Our Class 1 HGV Driver role within Dawsongroup EMC could be exactly what you’ve been looking for, offering the opportunity to transport high value specialist fleet equipment across customer and operational sites within the South of England. This is a highly skilled driving role involving the transportation of road sweepers, tankers and specialist municipal vehicles ranging from 4 tonnes to 32 tonnes. You’ll be trusted to deliver equipment safely, professionally and efficiently while representing Dawsongroup to customers across the UK.

  • Deliver and collect specialist fleet vehicles using low loader trailers
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections, defect reporting and compliance checks
  • Secure and transport high value equipment in line with weight distribution and load restraint requirements
  • Complete delivery, collection and damage documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support operational teams and provide excellent customer service at customer delivery sites

You may already be working as a Class 1 Driver, Low Loader Driver, Heavy Haulage Driver or Specialist Transport Driver and want a role with greater responsibility and variety. We’re looking for someone professional, safety conscious and dependable who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards on every journey.   • Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence and Driver CPC qualification
  • Have experience operating low loader trailers and transporting specialist equipment
