We are looking for a Refrigeration and Fluid Chiller Engineer to join our Energy Solutions (DGES) team, working with our DGES fluid chiller fleet and refrigeration systems across customer sites within the West Midlands. This role is hands on, varied, and focused on making sure the equipment we deliver is safe, reliable, and ready to perform when customers need it most.
- Carrying out repairs, testing, commissioning, and installations on refrigeration and fluid chiller equipment.
- Inspecting equipment pre and post deployment, ensuring compliance with F Gas and safety standards.
- Attending customer sites to install, service, and troubleshoot chiller units.
- Supporting and guiding apprentices or colleagues in the workshop and on site.
- Identifying recurring issues and contributing ideas to improve equipment quality and reliability.
You are a qualified refrigeration engineer who takes pride in high standards, teamwork, and problem solving. You do not need to match every requirement perfectly; we value attitude, transferable experience, and willingness to learn.
- Full valid UK driving licence.
- Qualified refrigeration engineer with relevant certification or diploma.
- Valid F Gas qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Comfortable with site work and staying away when required.
