Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or Strategic Account Manager looking for your next challenge? At Dawsongroup EMC, we are growing our national sales team and are looking to connect with commercially driven sales professionals across the UK who enjoy developing new business opportunities while building long-term customer relationships.
This is a primarily home / field-based role covering regional territories across the North, Midlands and South of England. Successful candidates will manage a designated patch aligned to current and upcoming growth opportunities within our business.
You will play a key role in driving regional growth across the municipal, waste, recycling, utilities, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, helping customers access specialist fleet and equipment solutions that keep essential services operating efficiently.
- Driving regional sales growth through proactive business development and strategic account management
- Developing long-term relationships with local authorities, contractors, utilities providers, and commercial operators
- Identifying rental opportunities through networking, tenders, prospecting activity, site visits, and customer engagement
- Managing and developing a healthy sales pipeline across your regional territory
- Working closely with Area Sales Executives, operational teams, and leadership to maximise fleet utilisation and customer satisfaction
- Delivering against sales targets, KPI’s, utilisation objectives, and revenue growth plans
You may already be working within field sales, business development, territory management, or strategic account management, or perhaps you have transferable commercial experience and thrive in customer-facing environments.
- Experience within field sales, business development, account management, or territory sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging with decision makers across both public and private sector organisations
- The ability to work independently in a home / field-based environment
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience within municipal, industrial, plant, fleet, vehicle rental, waste, recycling, utilities, construction, or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
