Do you have a background in vehicle maintenance and technical expertise, and want a rewarding, site-based role? If so, wed love to hear from you!
Were hiring aWorkshop Engineerto maintain and repair our fleet vehicles and specialist equipment, includingmunicipal, plant, industrial & specialist vehicles such as sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCVs, Tippers and forklifts.? Youll be based at our Brighouse depot, playing a key part in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and ready to go.. Whether you're already in municipal engineering or have transferable skills from another sector, we want to hear from you!
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles and equipment
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Work on hydraulic and electrical systems (dont worry, well support your learning)
- Prepare and deliver vehicles for MOT testing
- Help with stock checks and general fleet readiness
- Keep accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers
About You
Youre a hands-on problem solver with a background in mechanical maintenance, keen to apply your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Level 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and solve issues efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
