Workshop and Compliance Team Leader / Workshop Supervisor
Location: Garforth, Leeds

About this Role

This is your chance to lead a talented team of engineers and apprentices, shaping the future of workshop operations at our Garforth site. Your leadership will directly impact the safety, readiness, and compliance of our hire fleetkeeping our customers moving and our standards high.

  • Oversee workshop schedules, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all servicing standards and legislation
  • Mentor and support apprentices through hands-on development
  • Drive workshop performance, organisation, and safety culture
  • Collaborate with rental and field teams to maximise asset uptime

About You

  • Proven experiencein hands-on Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (any type of vehicle from cars to HGVs)
  • Strong organisational and scheduling skills
  • Comfortable handling compliance, documentation, and safety standards
  • Enjoys developing others and mentoring apprentices
  • A people-first mindset with a focus on teamwork and customer service
