About the Role

Love being behind the wheel and keeping things moving? Join Dawsongroup's truck and trailer team as a Driver and play a key part in keeping our fleet running smoothly and customers happy.

Working hours: 7.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (Would consider part time hours)

Hourly rate: £14.25 per hour.

  • Transport vehicles safely between customer sites, workshops, and our branches.
  • Present vehicles for MOT inspections with confidence and care.
  • Help out with office duties, vehicle handovers, and occasional guest transport.
  • Keep vehicles in top shape inside and out.
  • Support with ad hoc tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

About You

  • You take pride in your driving, stay organised on busy days, and don’t mind pitching in where needed.
  • You hold a full, valid UK LGV / HGV Class 1 licence (this one’s a must!)
  • CPC Card up to date and ready to go.
  • Comfortable with day-to-day vehicle checks and general upkeep.
  • Friendly, professional, and happy dealing with people face to face.
  • Always safety-aware and looking after the details.
