As a Service/Yard Foreman within Dawsongroup Energy Solutions, you will play a key role in keeping our depot running safely, efficiently, and reliably. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role combines hands-on engineering oversight with team leadership and operational coordination.
- Leading the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring generators and ancillaries are prepared, maintained, and available for hire.
- Overseeing inspection, basic servicing, fault reporting, and coordination of repairs for diesel generators and associated equipment.
- Allocating workloads to yard personnel and service engineers, monitoring progress and standards.
- Acting as the main link between depot operations, transport teams, and engineering management.
You will bring experience from an engineering-led environment and be confident supervising people, assets, and daily activity. This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, structure, and being close to the operation.
