As a Yard Supervisor in our Bus and Coach operation, you will be central to keeping our Milton Keynes site running safely, efficiently, and with the high standards our customers expect. Whether you already have experience in a similar role or you are looking to step up, this Yard Supervisor position gives you a chance to shape the flow of vehicles, support our Service Delivery team, and help keep our fleet prepared for daily operations.
You will be hands-on across the yard, ensuring vehicles are checked, organised, and ready for the road. Carry out daily and weekly yard checks, updating and maintaining yard plans. Keep the yard and containers safe, clean, organised, and secure at all times. Move, prepare, fuel, and charge vehicles so they are ready for operational use. Work with Valeters and carry out quality inspections on cleaned vehicles. Support basic repairs, issue permits to work, and complete walk around checks. Liaise with Facilities, Power Solutions, and fleet teams when required.
You take pride in keeping things orderly and safe, and you enjoy a role where you can stay active and solve practical problems. Comfortable working outdoors and moving vehicles around site. Strong communicator, able to work with internal teams and external contractors. Good attention to detail with a focus on safety and process. Keen to build knowledge of fleet operations and site logistics. Full UK driving licence is essential. A PSV licence is preferred, however we can train the successful applicant to gain the qualification. When you achieve the licence, your salary will increase.
