Join our Environmental, Municipal & Civil (EMC) division as a Fleet Controller and play a crucial role in keeping our fleet of over 1,500 Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) running smoothly. You will ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time, while driving efficiencies and compliance across our hire operation.
- Oversee the allocation and availability of a large HGV fleet.
- Maximise fleet productivity while ensuring compliance with DVSA, FORS, and O-license standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth fleet operations.
- Use data and telematics systems to make smart, cost-effective decisions.
- Keep accurate fleet records and optimise fleet rotation and performance.
You will bring extensive experience in fleet management and a sharp eye for compliance and operational excellence. We want someone who thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and using data to drive decisions.
- Proven experience managing large hire fleets, ideally in the HGV sector.
- In-depth knowledge of transport compliance (DVSA, FORS, O-license).
