Love being behind the wheel and keeping things moving? Join Dawsongroup\’s truck and trailer team in Stoke as a Class 1 Driver and play a key part in keeping our fleet running smoothly and customers happy.

  • Transport vehicles safely between customer sites, workshops, and our branches.
  • Present vehicles for MOT inspections with confidence and care.
  • Help out with office duties, vehicle handovers, and occasional guest transport.
  • Keep vehicles in top shape inside and out.
  • Support with ad hoc tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

About You

You take pride in your driving, stay organised on busy days, and don\’t mind pitching in where needed.

  • You hold a full, valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence (this one\’s a must!)
  • CPC Card up to date and ready to go.
  • Comfortable with day-to-day vehicle checks and general upkeep.
  • Friendly, professional, and happy dealing with people face to face.
  • Always safety-aware and looking after the details
