As Branch Manager, also known as Branch Operations Manager, you will lead one of our Truck and Trailer branches, taking full responsibility for customer experience, commercial performance, compliance, and team leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role where you balance people, assets, and performance to deliver a best-in-class rental service in the asset rental market.
Own the day-to-day operational and commercial performance of the branch, working to agreed revenue and contribution targets. Build strong, long-term customer relationships through new customer handovers and regular account reviews. Lead branch performance against operational KPIs including fleet utilisation, cost control, uptime, and audit standards. Ensure all vehicle hire activity, processes, and records comply with legislation, company policy, and safety standards. Act as the senior point of accountability for branch standards, asset security, and customer satisfaction.
You are a confident people leader with experience running operational teams and managing commercial priorities in a customer-focused environment. You may come from asset rental, logistics, automotive, transport, or another transferable operational setting, and you enjoy taking ownership and making things work better. Comfortable leading, coaching, and developing teams to deliver consistent service and performance. Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and control costs. Organised and detail-focused, particularly around compliance, administration, and audit requirements. Confident building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
