About this Role

Are you a Bodywork Fabricator or Site Fabricator looking for a mobile role with variety and purpose? As a Mobile Bodywork Fabricator within Temperature Controlled Solutions, you will support the repair, modification and installation of bespoke temperature controlled and off site units across customer locations nationwide.

Based from our Sutton in Ashfield site, this is a field based role with regular UK travel, working closely with customers, engineers and project teams to bring practical solutions to life.

  • Carry out bodywork fabrication, repair and modifications on temperature controlled units and off site structures.
  • Attend customer locations to complete on site installations and remedial works.
  • Work from drawings, technical instructions and project briefs to deliver safe, high quality outcomes.
  • Support project teams to keep work on track, compliant and completed to plan.
  • Represent TCS professionally in customer facing environments.

About You

  • You enjoy practical, hands on work and take pride in seeing a job completed properly.
  • You are comfortable working independently on customer sites while also collaborating with wider teams to achieve the best outcome.
  • An interest in engineering, fabrication, or construction environments, with training available.
  • Experience in fabrication, vehicle bodywork, coachbuilding or similar environments.
  • Confident communication skills with a professional, customer focused approach.
  • Comfortable working on site and occasionally staying away from home with advance notice.
  • A practical mindset with the ability to follow drawings and safe working practices.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
