Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a well established Multi Academy Trust in the Thames Valley region with the appointment of a part time Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and deliver recruitment campaigns across multiple schools. This is a hands on recruitment delivery role focused on improving hiring speed, strengthening talent pipelines and reducing reliance on external agencies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end to end recruitment campaigns across multiple schools within the Trust.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines to anticipate future hiring needs and reduce time to hire.
  • Actively source and engage candidates through targeted direct sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with school leaders to agree recruitment strategies, advertising channels and associated spend.
  • Monitor and manage recruitment advertising budgets, ensuring best value and measurable return on investment.
  • Oversee all recruitment coordination including advertising, candidate communication and interview logistics.
  • Provide guidance on job descriptions and person specifications to ensure clarity, inclusivity and alignment with Trust branding.
  • Reduce reliance on agency staffing through strategic direct recruitment activity.
  • Ensure full compliance with pre-employment and safer recruitment requirements.
  • Promote consistency and best practice across interview and selection processes.
  • Track and analyse recruitment metrics including source effectiveness, cost per hire and time to hire.
  • Contribute to workforce planning discussions and support initiatives to diversify the workforce.
