Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a client with the appointment of an Assistant Project Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their project management career to develop within a professional environment, working alongside experienced colleagues on a portfolio of projects within healthcare and education. You will support the delivery of projects from early stages through to completion, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting programme and project delivery across multiple projects
- Assisting with project reporting, dashboards and progress updates
- Coordinating meetings, actions and stakeholder communication
- Supporting contract administration and project documentation
- Assisting with risk, issue and change management
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support effective delivery
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Experience supporting projects through reporting, coordination and administrative activities
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A professional, proactive and collaborative approach
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholders
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital tools
- Project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2 or working towards) are welcomed but not essential
