Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a well-established project management consultancy in the appointment of an Estates Compliance Project Manager to support delivery across estates, compliance and operational improvement programmes within regulated environments.

Working closely with client side teams, contractors and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will support delivery across compliance programmes, planned works, repairs, statutory services and wider estate improvement initiatives. The role would particularly suit individuals from NHS, healthcare, education, housing, FM or public sector estates backgrounds.

The Role

  • Managing projects from inception through to completion across estates, compliance and operational environments
  • Supporting delivery of compliance and statutory programmes including electrical, ventilation, fire safety, water hygiene and building safety related works
  • Working closely with estates, maintenance and operational teams to coordinate project delivery within live environments
  • Managing contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers to ensure safe and compliant delivery
  • Supporting compliance audits, reporting and data accuracy across estates systems and records
  • Developing project plans, programmes, risk registers and delivery schedules
  • Monitoring budgets, project risks and operational performance
  • Providing regular reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and client teams
  • Supporting estate improvement, lifecycle replacement and minor capital works programmes
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with compliance, governance and operational requirements
  • Supporting project handover, defects management and project close out activities

Experience Required

  • Experience operating at Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level within estates, FM, compliance or operational environments
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, estates operations or building services delivery
  • Experience working within live and regulated environments
  • Ability to manage contractors, operational teams and multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Experience supporting repairs, maintenance, compliance or capital works programmes
  • Comfortable working with estates data, compliance records and reporting systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within Healthcare, NHS, Education, Housing or Public Sector environments would be highly advantageous

Qualifications

  • Project Management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent desirable
  • Technical or estates related qualifications would be advantageous
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or compliance related qualifications beneficial
