Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a well established organisation with the appointment of a qualified and customer focused Gas Engineer to join its busy Estates and Facilities Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a domestic Gas Engineer to join a team supporting a varied operational estate, including residential accommodation, operational buildings and public facing facilities.
The role will include:
- Undertaking new installations, planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Fault finding and fixing issues across domestic gas systems and associated equipment
- Carrying out servicing and statutory testing
- Supporting wider maintenance and estates activity where required
- Working as part of a collaborative, multi skilled maintenance team
- Delivering a high level of customer service across a live operational environment
Experience required:
- Qualified domestic Gas Engineer ACS, CCN1, CPA1, MET1, CENWAT1 and UHW1, or willingness to work towards relevant qualifications
- Experience of servicing, fault finding, repairs and statutory testing
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
