Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting an education provider with the appointment of an experienced Estates Manager to lead the operational delivery of estates services across a multi-site education portfolio. This is a key role for an estates and facilities professional who can ensure buildings are safe, compliant, well maintained and fit for purpose, while supporting a consistent and high quality approach to estate management.
The role will include:
- Leading planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
- Managing statutory compliance including fire, asbestos, legionella, electrical testing and health and safety
- Overseeing CAFM systems, asset registers, compliance records and remedial actions
- Supporting premises and site teams to drive consistency and performance
- Managing contractors, permits to work, risk assessments and service delivery standards
- Supporting capital projects, condition surveys, estate planning and sustainability initiatives
- Providing clear reporting on compliance, estate performance, risk and budgets
- Overseeing cleaning and catering service delivery across the estate
Experience required:
- Senior estates or facilities management experience across multi site or complex environments
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and health and safety
- Experience managing maintenance programmes, contractors and site based teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and operational teams
- A recognised health and safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
- Experience within education or public sector would be highly beneficial.
