Fire Safety ManagerSouth West | Permanent |£60,000| HybridDawson Jones Recruitment is supporting our client in the public sector with the appointment of an experienced Fire Safety Manager to lead fire safety strategy, compliance and delivery across their portfolio.This is a key, internal leadership role responsible for overseeing fire safety strategy, compliance and delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders, residents and external partners to ensure safe and compliant environments.The Role:Reporting into senior leadership, you will be accountable for the delivery and oversight of fire safety across the organisation, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice.Key responsibilities include:Providing overall leadership of the fire safety and fire door function, with accountability for team performance, capability and deliverySetting and delivering fire safety strategy, policy and compliance across the organisationOverseeing fire risk assessments and ensuring actions are prioritised and deliveredLeading on fire door programmes including inspection, maintenance and remediationOwning fire safety risk management, ensuring robust controls and mitigation are in placeActing as the organisations subject matter expert on fire safety, advising senior stakeholdersDriving a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across departmentsMaintaining clear reporting, governance and communication of fire safety performanceEnsuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and regulatory standardsAbout YouWe are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:Strong experience delivering fire safety compliance within the public sectorExperience managing fire risk assessment programmes and fire door complianceExperience leading a fire safety function or teamStrong understanding of current fire safety legislation and regulatory requirementsExperience working within multi-stakeholder environments and able to challenge constructively where requiredAbility to manage workloads and priorities effectivelyExperience producing and presenting reports to stakeholdersRelevant qualification such as NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE or equivalentPlease apply now or contact Claire Harrison for more information.Dawson Jones Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
