Dawson Jones Recruitment is working with a leading social housing provider in Devon to recruit an experienced Gas Servicing Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Team Leader who can combine strong technical gas knowledge with effective day-to-day leadership..
The Role
- Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of Gas Safe registered engineers, apprentices and trainees.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality gas servicing and maintenance services.
- Carry out site inspections, quality assessments and toolbox talks.
- Coach, mentor and support engineers, including performance management and development.
- Work closely with colleagues, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure works are delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Promote excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.
- Champion a strong safety and compliance culture across the service
- Manage workloads and resources to support efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safety Regulations, relevant legislation and health and safety standards.
About You
- Experience within gas servicing, maintenance or breakdown services.
- Previous supervisory, team leadership or senior engineer experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of domestic gas services and associated compliance requirements.
- Current relevant ACS qualifications.
- The ability to motivate teams, manage performance and support service improvement.
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
Relevant ACS qualifications are required and candidates should ideally hold Gas Safe registration or possess the qualifications required to obtain registration.
