This is a full‑time, on‑site role at Cross Hands in Carmarthenshire. The role collaborates closely with operations, engineering, and planning teams to maintain product integrity, improve processes and support continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the technical and quality assurance teams.
- Monitoring production processes and addressing non‑conformances promptly.
- Reviewing and verifying records such as CCPs, traceability and hygiene checks.
- Supporting audits and driving corrective and preventative actions.
- Interpreting production data, quality results and technical reports to make timely, evidence‑based decisions.
Qualifications and experience:
- Hands‑on technical support experience within food manufacturing or a similar regulated industry, with a good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, quality systems and compliance requirements.
- Experience in Food Science, Food Technology, Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally and represent the technical function in meetings and audits.
- Good IT skills (e.g., MS Office, quality or production systems) and familiarity with audit frameworks such as BRCGS and major retailer standards is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns and respond to operational needs in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.

- Tuesday 6am‑2pm
- Wednesday 6am‑2pm
- Thursday 6am‑2pm
- Friday 6am‑6.30pm
- Saturday 6am‑6pm
