We are looking for skilled Butchers, Deboners and Trimmers to join our team at Treburley near Launceston in Cornwall. The successful candidates will be required to undertake de-boning and trimming of beef carcasses to customer specification whilst ensuring maximum meat yield is achieved.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of boning or trimming meat and previous experience of working in the food industry
  • Be able to demonstrate good knife skills
  • Possess good communication and team working skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service

Responsibilities

  • Boning and trimming beef products following customer specifications
  • Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure production runs smoothly
  • Maintain current yields and quality standards

Working Hours and Compensation

The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 5.45am to 2.15pm. As a trimmer you will receive a base rate of £12.21 p/h. However, good attendance and performance will be rewarded by becoming eligible for a throughput bonus that can take the hourly rate to £15.32 p/h.
