Overview: The company currently wishes to recruit a highly skilled, motivated and driven person to be based on our Dungannon site. Essentially, we are seeking determined and committed individuals who can impact on performance and make a positive contribution to the company's future growth. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the cleaning team and providing a comprehensive cleaning service to the factory.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the hygiene of all areas of the factory in compliance with the standards set out by the company and management.
- Supervise all cleaners – distribute responsibilities and duties to the team.
- Ensure tasks are carried out in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Ensure all necessary protective clothing and equipment are issued.
- Assist and co-operate with the training of employees.
- Ensure hygiene is checked at the end of shift.
- Implement and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Manage staff performance to technical expectation.
- Manage holidays and absence, ensuring the jobs tasks are adequately covered.
- Develop close working relationships with colleagues in other functions such as production, maintenance, technical.
- Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and improved.
- Any other reasonable request deemed necessary to fulfil the role.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning preferable and production environment would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, that will enable you to carry out team briefs and any necessary written communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, together with the ability to assist in leading and motivating a team.
- Very good attention to details and observation skills.
- 1 year of supervisory experience would be an advantage.
- Basic IT knowledge (additional training on in-house systems will be provided).
This role operates evenings from 5pm to 1am, Monday to Friday. All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
